No farm would be complete without a good dog…or two…or four🐶. I took videos of all our pups while out feeding this morning.
🐶Jewel and Rose are mini aussies, there jobs are to make messes, dig up dahlia tubers 😫, bark at birds, and be cute.
🐶Pearl and Bella are our hardworking livestock guardian dogs. Currently Pearl is keeping watch over our pregnant ewes and Bella is in the lower pasture babysitting all the new lambs and mommas.
They are all keepers 😊

This Friday our farm fact is on our sheep.

🐏We raise Katahdins, which are a hair breed and means they don’t have wool and don’t need sheared. They grow a thicker hair coat in the winter but then it naturally sheds in the spring.
🐑We just finished up our December lambing group and are waiting for a second group of ewes (or girl sheep) to lamb beginning in February.
🥰Baby lambs are the most adorable creatures! Seeing lambs being born and the way a ewe mothers them immediately just never grows old for me.
🌻If you visit the u-pick this summer (and we hope you will) you’ll get the chance to see our sheep as well.

What a beautiful honor to host our @eubankbcyouth ladies last night at the farm for “Frills, Flowers, & Fellowship”. The weather was outstanding for the girls to pick flowers, share a fancy meal together, and then pause to spend some time in God’s Word. I’m so very thankful for each girl!! They face many trials and temptations that we did not at their age. What a blessing to watch them choose Christ to overcome!🩷
The night couldn’t have happened without our lovely and devoted adult leaders-y’all never disappoint!
